The Honorable Mayor Frank Jackson, sat with two “African American Lifestyle Magazine” executives one Thursday afternoon in his office and answered questions about the city of Cleveland’s future.

What are some of the benefits of living in the Cleveland region?

Mayor Jackson:

One of our greatest assets is our Arts & Culture. We have everything from a World-Renowned Orchestra to Ballet to Rock & Roll and everything in between. Jazz, Pop, Hip-hop, The House of Blues, you name it, there is a great range and variety of interests and entertainment here in the Cleveland area. There's Playhouse Square where plays come from New York to here before they go on to Chicago and other large venues sometimes. Then we have the smaller performing arts theaters such as, The Cleveland Playhouse, West Side Theater and Karamu. Cleveland has it all along with a multiplicity of ethnic groups is an expression of Cleveland's diversity.
