Spotlight on Cleveland
There is more to enjoy in Cleveland than what you hear through the grapevine.

As the price of gas continues to rise we believe it would be very advantageous to share with you many sites right here is Northeast Ohio that you and your family can visit without breaking your bank.
Our feature story is an overview of our city entitled, “Destination Cleveland” in which you will hear from the Mayor of Cleveland in our one on one conversation with him.

The issue is packed with the many unique aspects of Cleveland that are sometimes forgotten.

The highlights coupled with the entrepreneurial reflection of Dr. Bessie House and the many editorials in this issue are a real treat of Cleveland's finest and it's potential.

Additionally Cleveland is showcased as an attractive destination.  One of my personal goals as chief editor is to showcase our hometown to our young people as a vibrant community.  Enough with the negative press – it is about time we see the best in our city and it's people!

As I was growing up my older brother Godfrey once said to me, ”In every interaction, we are either learning or teaching one another”.  My question is, what are we communicating and what have we learned?  I encourage all of you to share your success stories with out children and those in our community. It is a new day- Get involved! Obstacles are opportunities disguised as problems.

With this publication, you can make your voice heard and your dreams a reality.  Keep the faith and never give up.

The mission of this publication is to inform, empower and inspire all of us and that is exactly what we will endeavor to accomplish.

Join us, we can, we will and we must.  Our children and our country is depending on it.
